Free Nature Photo Stroll in Nat’l Park – February 5
It’s another Nature Photography Stroll in Hawai‘i Volcanoes National Park with Jack Jeffrey. He’s a wildlife biologist and photographer who communicates the ecology and geology of the region while offering tips on how to capture it all on camera. It’s from 9-10 a.m. and 10:15 – 11:15 a.m. on Friday, February 5, 2010 (and the first Friday of every month).
Bring your camera or binoculars for this 1-hour-long, easily-navigable stroll along the rim of Kilauea caldera. Meet at the Volcano Art Center Gallery, located next to the national park’s Visitor Center.
Sign-ups are on a first-come, first-served basis (no pre-registration is offered). Free, though park entrance fee applies. Donations welcome at VAC Gallery. For more info, call (808) 967-8222.
