Gifts Under $10 – and Local, too!
Is it possible to give a great gift without spending more than $10? Here at Big Island On The Cheap, we think so! The gifts you’ll find below are all under ten bucks with a bonus: they’re made in the state of Hawai‘i, making your $10 a good investment in our local economy, too. Of course, these inexpensive gift options are great for those of you on the mainland who wish to inject a little aloha into the holiday, too!
Some items are available at retail outlets on the island, while others (especially the Etsy items) are mail order only.
FOR THE LADIES:
Big and little girls alike will appreciate a small coin purse, pouch or ipod holder. Etsy seller Mom of 3 Monkeys has lots to choose from, some as low as $2.75!
Or how about a cute mini tote (only $10!) from Bad Kitty Hawai‘i?
Island Soap and Candle Works offers several under-$10 options, like lotion, lip balm, or soap.
These made in Hawai‘i beaded earrings from Etsy seller HawaiiBeads (lots of styles to choose from) add flair on the cheap, but she’ll never know!
FOR THE MEN:
Surprise him (because really, he’s not expecting soap!) with Soul Fire for Men Aromatherapy soaps.

Oh wow, those marshmallows look divine!
These are such awesome awesome gift ideas that are actually affordable. Fantastic-o. Reading this makes me miss Hawaii.
These are gorgeous gifts, and it’s so nice to see the local artisan items, instead of stuff shipped in from elsewhere. If anyone wants to give me some of those Island soaps or candles, I’ll be thrilled.
