The 2nd Tuesday Book Club discusses Geraldine Brooks’ newest novel People of the Book, inspired by a true story that traces the journey of a rare illuminated manuscript through centuries of exile and war. I haven’t read this book but it reminds me of “The Red Violin,” which I loved.
