Kenny Endo Taiko – April 21
Have you been in any of Hawai‘i’s libraries when they present some sort of LOUD entertainment? It feels so naughty to be hearing such noise in a library!
Kenny Endo presents a free unique cultural and educational program on the art of performing with taiko (Japanese drums). In a lecture an demonstration he’ll introduce the many drums and percussion instruments of Japan as used in traditional and contemporary music. Kenny Endo is a performer, composer, and leader of contemporary taiko. The free 45-minute program will be presented at the Kailua-Kona library and is recommended for ages 5 and older.
