Free ‘Ukulele Show
In conjunction with the Merrie Monarch Hawaiian Quilt Exhibit, the Big Island ‘Ukulele Guild is showcasing some beautiful handmade ‘ukuleles. There are works by ten Big Island luthiers, all one-of-a-kind and handcrafted on the Big Island. Many have extensive inlay and ornamentation. This is a free event and there will be a guild member on hand at all times to answer questions. The exhibit runs untill Friday, April 17th, and it is open from 8:30 to 4:30 every day at the Wailoa Center at Wailoa State Park in Hilo.
There will be a people’s choice award given to the ukulele with the most votes, so make sure you vote!
